Max Dobrovich

Maximilian Dobrovich was born in 1963 in Wiener Neustadt.

He started his violin studies at the age of eight at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt, Austria. In 1980 he was acccepted into the Music University Vienna where he studied in the masterclass of Franz Samohyl.

He joined the first violin section of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in 1985.

Maximilian Dobrovich has won various competitions including the Jenö Takács Competition and the Jeunesse Musicale Competitions.

He has performed internationally as soloist and in various chamber groups and has given master classes in many countries, including England, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary Japan and Switzerland.
